Vanity-Alchemist

Why am I so inclined to listen to the forming night? The stars vanishing from view, leaving only the crescent moon to be my guide. To lead me away from the horrors only heard and never seen. To make it all the more terrifying. Imagination is the man’s worst enemy. To envision the images of what? Cthulhu? Cerberus? The Devil Himself? Whatever it may be, I must accept it. And hope it not show its form before the rising sun.
